Welcome


Exothermic Robotics Club is comprised of students from more than a half-dozen high schools and junior high schools in the Seattle area. The club’s mission is to build robots and compete with them in local, regional and world tournaments.

Last year, in the 2009-2010 season, we played in eleven different events, had teams win eight tournaments (sometimes two of our teams won together), won five Excellence Awards, won 23 other awards, won a division at the VEX World Championships, and had a team in the finals at VEX Worlds.  That’s 38 new trophies this year for our 11 teams.

In addition, we had six rookie teams, four of which qualified for world championship events.  We helped ICS start a VEX program, and helped Sandy High School in Oregon get their first VEX tournament going. Go Exothermics!
